ATHLETES OF ALL AGES

Taking You to the Next Level

No matter your athletic level, anyone who enjoys an active lifestyle knows injuries happen. While they can be minimized, they are hard to be totally avoided.  As athletes ourselves, we understand just how painful and difficult it can be to suffer from injury.  The way in which one treats injuries determines how fast one recovers, how well they recover and how quickly one can get back to the activity he enjoys.  By using the chiropractic adjustment to return spinal segments to their normal mobility and using exercises to help the supportive tissues (muscles, tendons, & ligaments), chiropractic helps the injured areas return to normal function.

PREGNANCY

Here For You

Chiropractic care is extremely safe and beneficial for the whole family.  Especially during pregnancy, there are many chiropractic benefits for both the mother and the child.  Chiropractic works to maintain optimal pelvic alignment to allow for proper position of the baby and has been studied to even reduce labor pain.  Dr. Jess got her roots caring for families at one of the busiest chiropractic practices in her area and is a Webster Certified doctor through the ICPA.

INFANTS AND TODDLERS

Quality Care

Even the most natural birth is very traumatic, setting the stage for future issues if not addressed. With such rapid growth and development happening, there is no better time to ensure your infants spine and nervous system are functioning in the best possible way.  Learning to walk, run and jump, toddlers stay busy. Overstimulation from the environment, the introduction of new foods and the development of new motor patterns can all affect the development of the toddler. Toddlers under regular chiropractic care often get sick less often, take less antibiotics or other drugs and are less susceptible to ear infections.

CHILDREN & TEENS

Thriving in Life

Kids are busier than ever these days, school aged children are faced with new physical stressors of sitting at school, new sports/activities being introduced, and the use of technologies. In addition, they may start to feel stress from schoolwork, bullying, peer pressure, which can all have an effect on the nervous system.  One of the biomechanical issues with teenagers today is the postural changes that can occur from prolonged computer, cell phone and video game use. Your teenager may also be experiencing emotional stress from peer pressure, new relationships, schoolwork and learning more independent adult skills which can place tremendous stress on their nervous system.
