THE ASPEN APPROACH

WHY US?

At Aspen Chiropractic & Wellness, we see patients on a one-on-one basis. You are working directly with Dr. Jess during the entire treatment.  We seek to create the ideal environment necessary for natural healing.  Dr. Jess makes sure that all of your questions are answered and that you have all of the necessary information to make an educated health care decision.  We take great pride in letting you take control of your care.  While we might make suggestions for the next visit, you are never pressured to sign up for additional services.

Dr. Jess uses many chiropractic treatment techniques, evidence-based care and wellness coaching. Treatments consist of advanced joint adjusting techniques and lifestyle recommendations.  We are committed to a holistic approach looking at all aspects of health & wellness, not just managing symptoms.  Our focus is to support you, your pets and your family in reaching your goals.  Dr. Jess has experience with a variety of chiropractic techniques and will help find the treatment style that is the best fit.  Just because you tried chiropractic once and it didn't help, doesn't mean that chiropractic care isn't right for you and/or your pet. Maybe you just haven’t found the right chiropractor.

WHY CHIROPRACTIC?

Chiropractic is a health care profession that focuses on disorders of the musculoskeletal and nervous system, and the affects that those disorders have on overall health.  Chiropractic care helps improve the body’s ability to communicate and function properly and is most frequently used to ehance wellness, improve performance and find relief from pain.  Doctors of Chiropractic practice a drug-free, surgery-free, hands-on approach to health care that includes patient examination, diagnosis and treatment.

Doctors of Chiropractic perform “adjustments” (sometimes called manipulations) to enhance joint mobility by applying a controlled force to joints that have been hypomobile - or restricted in movement - as a result of tissue injury. Tissue injury can be caused by a single traumatic event, or through repetitive stresses. In either case, injured tissues undergo physical and chemical changes that can cause inflammation, pain and diminished function for the sufferer. Adjustment of the affected joint and tissues helps to improve mobility, decrease pain and muscle tightness, allowing the tissue to heal properly. In many cases, such as lower back pain, chiropractic may be the primary method of treatment. When other medical conditions exist, chiropractic care may complement or support medical treatment by relieving musculoskeletal and neurological aspects associated with the condition.
